Enhance mezzanine decking with commercial floor coatings

The demand for commercial floor coatings is increasing, no more so than in the retail sector. Retailers require enhanced, high performance environments to maintain market positioning. TFS clear UV lacquered coatings provide sales floors that are durable, easy to clean and have anti-slip properties. The retail support network of warehousing and distribution has also become more sophisticated. Here, commercial floor coatings have to withstand heavy traffic whilst maintaining high health and safety standards of slip resistance. TFS has a range of coatings available with a smooth or textured finish and in a range of colours, or clear finish.

Trade Fabrication Systems works with the UK’s major suppliers of mezzanine decking. This has resulted in a range of commercial floor coatings to satisfy the most discerning client. Coatings are applied to 38mm particleboard, with independent certification for wear and slip resistance. This may also be combined with TFS factory applied Class O foil to the reverse face for fire retardancy.

Commercial floor coatings for temporary protection

Protecting the floor in public areas during vital building maintenance work presents a challenge to contractors. TFS offer an innovative solution – a temporary floor protection overlay system. TFS’s PU commercial floor coating can be factory applied to plywood or MDF structural panels. An optional lacquered reverse and an exterior grade edge finish enhance moisture control.

Delivered to site ready for use, the panels can be rapidly installed to provide a durable surface with anti-slip properties when dry or wet. A choice of original stippled or surface patterned coatings are available. Upon project completion they are simply lifted and stored for future use, revealing the original floor below, free of damage. Overlay systems are also available with tongue and groove machined edges, providing permanent or temporary protection of structural flooring.
