Behind the scenes at TFS – meet our General Manager

After speaking with Systems Co-ordinator, Tom Harrison, we’re back again to peek behind the scenes and introduce the people that help to make TFS a brilliant place to be. 

Over the past couple of years, not only have we recruited like-minded individuals to help our business evolve, but we have also nurtured our existing talent by providing new opportunities for professional growth. So, it’s particularly fitting that this time, we’re getting to know our General Manager, Adam Morris.

After starting his journey on the factory floor at TFS, exploring the breadth of the business, Adam began to carve out his career path, rising through the ranks to become General Manager. 

Here’s what Adam had to say about his journey so far and his contribution to the success of the business…

“When I joined TFS, in 2010, I was working as a Temporary Factory Operative on the floor alongside studying for my international business management degree. This experience offered an excellent foundation to build upon and helped me to identify areas of development within the business. I think it’s essential that managers experience all levels of their business’s operations and get to know the amazing people behind the scenes that perform vital roles.

“My current position is General Manager. Through this role, I have taken on full management responsibilities, I help facilitate the day-to-day running of TFS, and I ensure that our internal and external processes run as smoothly as possible. 

It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the mechanisms behind the business and bring my experience in business development and international management to the table.

“In my wider role, I help to create and implement innovative strategies designed to grow the business, and I also coordinate the development of key performance goals amongst many other duties.

“Investing in new machinery and expanding the team has ensured that TFS exceeds industry standards and reinforces our dynamic attitude. Our ability to monitor the changing landscape and respond quickly to challenges has cemented TFS as a market leader.

“Over the next few years, I would love to harness this experience and continue to build more valuable relationships with new and existing clients.”
