TFS Processing Quality Supports IRO Timber’s TDCA Accreditation

Working strictly within the B2B space, our core activity involves working in collaboration with industry partners to bring cutting edge solutions to market that add value and keep timber high on the UK construction agenda.

Passionate about keeping timber at the forefront when considering decking and cladding, our work with BSW Timber has seen the launch of the IRO Timber range go from strength to strength… Sustainably sourced by BSW, processed and protected at our facility, the self-cleaning, HVOC free range has recently attracted even more industry attention – this time from independent advisory body, TDCA.

Receiving coveted accreditation from TDCA (Timber Decking and Cladding Association), IRO has successfully secured both CladMark and DeckMark for its performance and quality.

The independent advisory body advises contractors on the correct specification of materials, installation guidance and offers advice on ongoing care and maintenance of decking and timber cladding. Recognised as a reliable and authoritative source in the UK, the TDCA’s quality assessments for decking and cladding verify the performance and longevity of timber materials in installation.

Howard Morris, Managing Director at Trade Fabrication Systems, commented: “Quality is paramount for us at TFS, and we live by our mantra of right first time. With ISO 9001:2015 certification, IRO Timber is processed by us under quality assured processes that are rigorously conformed to in order to guarantee performance. BSW Timber has a commitment to sustainability and quality, principles that resonate with our own business model and we are so proud that IRO Timber has been awarded the TDCA accreditation for its overall quality.”

James Brennan, Marketing Manager at BSW Timber, concluded: “It is brilliant that IRO Timber has been recognised by the TDCA for its high quality and performance and it is the perfect accolade for IRO as a brand. It gives assurance to purchasers of the product that the quality meets the criteria set by the trade body and that is a testament to our industry partnership with TFS.”
